Refund policy
What is refundable, what is not, and exactly how to ask us to look at a charge.
Last updated 16 September 2026
1. The short version
Thesis-It Pro is a monthly prepaid subscription: RM39 buys 30 days of access, there is no lock-in, and you can simply stop renewing at any time. Because each period is short and starts working immediately, payments for a period that has begun are generally not refundable. We do refund things that went wrong - see below - and we review every request we receive.
2. Duplicate charges
If you were charged more than once for the same renewal, we refund the duplicate in full once it is verified. Send the details listed in section 6.
3. Charged, but access never activated
A confirmed payment normally activates Pro access within minutes, and our systems re-check unmatched payments automatically. If your payment was taken and access still has not activated, contact us: we will either activate the access you paid for or refund the payment in full.
4. Failed or incomplete payments
If a payment fails or you cancel at the bank screen, Thesis-It does not receive the money and there is nothing to refund. If your bank shows a hold or deduction for a failed payment, the bank or payment provider releases it on their own schedule; contact us if it has not cleared after a few days and we will help chase it.
5. Used periods and workshops
Days of Pro access already used, and workshop sessions already attended, count as delivered and are not refunded. When a refund is granted, Pro access from that payment ends at the time of the refund.
6. How to request a review
Email support@thesisit.app with:
- the email address you use to sign in to Thesis-It
- the date and amount of the charge
- the payment method (FPX, DuitNow QR, or card)
- the receipt or transaction reference, if you have it
- a short note on what went wrong
We review every request and reply by email.
7. How approved refunds are processed
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through the payment provider. We aim to complete them within 14 days of approval; your bank may take additional days to show the money.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under Malaysian consumer protection law.
